The Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation is building a strong financial base to further Lutheran Hour Ministries' mission of Bringing Christ to the Nations-and the Nations to the Church. The LHM Foundation gives donors an enhanced way to provide support to the ministry through irrevocable agreements.
Having its own foundation allows LHM to ensure that more of the donor's gifts are available for the ministry. The LHM Foundation administers endowment funds, which currently provide more than $300,000 in annual distributions for ministries.
Members of The Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation consist of the current members of the Board of Governors of the International Lutheran Laymen's League, the present Board of Trustees of the Foundation, all past members of The Hoffmann Society Advisory Council, and all individuals who have served as Trustee members or members of the Executive Committee of the International Lutheran Laymen's League. Members elect Trustees each July during the Foundation's Annual Meeting held at the International Convention of the International Lutheran Laymen's League.
