The Lutheran Hour

The Lutheran Hour^® is the flagship radio program for Lutheran Hour Ministries. This 30-minute weekly program is the world's oldest continually broadcast Gospel radio program. The Speaker of The Lutheran Hour is The Rev. Ken Klaus.

Pastor Klaus and the LHM Response Center hear from thousands of people each year whose lives have been touched by The Lutheran Hour. A soldier stationed in Iraq called the LHM Response Center with questions after visiting The Lutheran Hour Web site. He was heading to Baghdad and wanted advice on how to grow in his faith and reassurance of his salvation. He listened to and read all of the sermons on The Lutheran Hour Web site.

He asked how he could be reassured of his salvation if he did not return home safely from Iraq. The LHM staff member was excited to share with this young man the promise of his salvation in the gift of Jesus Christ. She assured him that he could call the LHM Response Center to learn more about growing his faith.
