Bervin Mirtsching

D. Mirtsching is a Ministry Advancement Officer for Lutheran Hour Ministries,
a position he has held since December 2001.
In his current position, Mirtsching offers deferred and current
gifting solutions for donors to further Lutheran Hour Ministries'
mission of Bringing Christ to the Nations–and the Nations
to the Church. Mirtsching works specifically with donors in
Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma,
Tennessee, and Texas.
Prior to joining Lutheran Hour Ministries, Mirtsching served as
a Ministry Advancement Officer for The Lutheran Church–Missouri
Synod Foundation and in multiple roles of increasing importance
within the Office of the Attorney General's Worker's Compensation
Division for the State of Texas.
Mirtsching earned a bachelor's degree in business administration
from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. Mirtsching is also
a member of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives and
the National Committee on Planned Giving. He also serves as Elder
for his home church, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas.
